Job Description
Responsible for material replenishment (raw material, components and/or finished goods). Use MRP (right balance of Resource Vs Demand) to ensure stock availability
(Required Quantity only) on time at right place.

Manages a multi-step, cross functional process which uses forecasts, experience and commercial & external inputs to estimate the customer demand as an input to the Sales, Inventory and Operations Planning process.

Able to find the right balance of Demand / Capacity / Supply / Inventory in the end-to-end Supply Chain network to satisfy customer demand while optimizing cost and inventory. Competent Is able to describe end-to-end network (bill of distribution in Kinaxis or other) and main stakeholders. Is able to define the stocking policy based on customer needs, replenishment methods and the cost to
deliver on the distribution network (including transportation mode definition). On a 0-15 months time horizon, is able: To acknowledge and commit to customer demand, To setup inventory parameters and lead time,
Ables to set up and update autonomously the safety stock parameters and their impacts for production and suppliers To define the resources needs (manufacturing and logistics capacity, people, components) To communicate to upstream network. Understands and uses the Need / Resource Balance and replenishment systems in order to manage the inventory and satisfy the customer demand. Competent Is able to describe and calculate the Need / Resource Balance and use the Replenishment systems in order to manage the inventory. Knows how and when to use the different replenishment strategies (MRP, ROP, Kanban, etc...).
